CPA is not empowered to make mandatory, practices and procedures that have not been deemed to be mandatory by the Departments of Health. When applying the standards or assessing to them the bibliography provides an important guide to current legislation and guidelines. When applying this standard in Transfusion Medicine it is important that the assessors view evidence of the department’s annual participation in SHOT. |
